NHM Punjab Specialist Doctor Recruitment 2026 Vacancy Details 

Eligibility Criteria

• MBBS with MD/MS/DNB degree/DNB diploma from a recognized University or Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India.
• Candidates should have registered with Punjab Medical Council/ Medical Council of India.
• Candidates should have passed subject of Punjabi upto Matric standard.

Salary/ Stipend

• Empanelment fee is paid per patient/service rendered.
• OPD: Rs 100 per patient
• IPD: Rs 100 per patient
• Major Surgeries/Caesarean section: Rs 3500
• Minor Surgeries: Rs 1000
• Minor procedure: Rs 500
• Ultrasound: Rs 400
• Emergency call: Rs 1500 per visit
• Anesthesia Charges (for major surgeries): Rs 2000
• Minimum assured: 50-150 OPD patients/day and 2-20 IPD patients/day
• Additional Rs 100 per patient above minimum limit (calculated monthly)
• Payment computed monthly on average patients attended, not less than minimum assured amount if doctor attends all working days.
• No other emoluments, allowances, perks, or bonus.

• Maximum Age: upto 64 years

• Walk-in Interview conducted at the Office of the Civil Surgeon of the respective district.

General Information/Instructions

• Specialties: General Medicine, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, Dermatology, Chest & TB, General Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, ENT, Anaesthesiology and Radiology.
• Minimum 3 hours service per day (Monday to Saturday).
• Private practice allowed except unwanted referral from government facilities.
• Maximum 4 leave days per month.
• Candidates must bring original documents and self-attested photocopies at interview.
• Corrigendum(s), if any, will be published on the official website only.
• Candidates are advised to visit department’s website regularly for updates.
