Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must be a citizen of India.
• The candidate must be eligible in terms of age, educational qualifications, experience etc. as per Advertisement / Recruitment Rules notified by the User Department for the post of Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS).
• The educational qualification, age, experience etc. shall be determined as on 15/01/2026.
• Essential educational qualification for MTS posts (Excise, Entertainment & Luxury Taxes Department; Department of Urban Development; Sahitya Kala Parishad): Matriculation or equivalent pass.
• Essential educational qualification for MTS posts (Labour Department; Drugs Control Department; Public Grievances Commission; NCC Department; Registrar Cooperative Societies; Department of Food, Supplies & Consumer Affairs): Matriculation or equivalent pass from recognized Board/University/Institution.
• Essential educational qualification for MTS posts (Development Department): Minimum matriculation or its equivalent pass from recognized Board/Institution.
• Desirable qualification: NIL for all listed MTS posts as per respective department tables.
• Essential experience: NIL for all listed MTS posts.
• Desirable experience: NIL for all listed MTS posts.

Salary/Stipend

• Pay Scale for all Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) posts: ₹ 18,000 – 56,900/- (Pay Level-1).
• Group classification: Group ‘C’ (Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial / General Central Service, Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial) as specified for respective departments.

Age Limit (as on 15-01-2026)

• Age limit for MTS posts in all listed departments: 18–27 years / Between 18–27 years / 18 to 27 years as indicated in respective department details.
• Age relaxation will be given as per para 8 (Category-wise) of the advertisement, including relaxations for SC/ST, OBC, PwBD, Ex-servicemen, departmental candidates, Meritorious Sports Persons, Disabled Defence Services personnel, and widows/divorced women/women judicially separated and not re-married.

Application Fee

• Application fee: ₹ 100/- (One Hundred only).
• Women candidates and candidates belonging to Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe, PwBD & Ex-serviceman category are exempted from paying Application fee.
• The candidates submitting their application online should pay the requisite fees only through SBI e-pay; other modes of payment shall not be accepted/considered and the payment made shall stand forfeited.
• Application Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Selection Process

• The selection shall be made through a One Tier Examination (I Tier – General) for the post of Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) as per the examination scheme.
• DSSSB will conduct Computer Based Examination of 200 objective-type questions (MCQs) carrying 200 marks, covering General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning ability, Arithmetical & Numerical Ability, Test of Hindi Language & Comprehension, and Test of English Language & Comprehension.
• The questions in the examination will be bilingual (Hindi & English) except for the language papers which will be in the language concerned only.
• Negative marking will be applicable and deduction of 0.25 marks will be made for each wrong Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) answer.
• DSSSB reserves the right to change/amend the examination scheme, cancel/withdraw/delete any question, and prorate marks accordingly.
• Minimum qualifying marks for the written examination: General/EWS: 40%; OBC (Delhi): 35%; SC/ST/PH (PwBD): 30%; Ex-servicemen will be given 5% relaxation in their respective categories subject to a minimum of 30%.
• Marks scored by candidates in the Computer Based Examination will be normalized (if required) and such normalized scores shall be used to determine final merit and selection.
• Draft Answer Keys will be displayed and objections can be submitted online within the stipulated time; the decision of the Board on final Answer Keys will be final.
• Skill Test / Endurance Test / Driving Test / Trade Test will be taken as per requirement of job.
• Provisional nomination / selection and allocation of Department by DSSSB shall be based on merit-cum-preference and subject to verification of eligibility by the user department.

General Information/Instructions

• Candidates must apply online through the website https://dsssbonline.nic.in; only online applications will be accepted and applications received by post/by hand/by mail etc. will be summarily rejected.
• The candidate must go through the requirements of essential educational qualification, age, experience, PwBD suitability etc. and satisfy himself/herself that he/she is eligible for the post; candidature will be accepted only on provisional basis.
• The educational qualification, age, experience and other eligibility conditions shall be determined as on cut off date i.e. 15/01/2026.
• Only one online registration and only one online application is allowed to be submitted by a candidate; multiple registrations/applications will be rejected and candidature will be cancelled and the candidate debarred from examinations of the Board.
• Candidates must fill correct and active e-mail address and mobile number and regularly check Board’s website and communications; the Board shall not be responsible for any lapse on the part of the candidate.
• Candidates are advised to upload recent and clear colour photograph with plain white or off-white background; online applications with blurred/illegible photograph/signature will be rejected.
• Request for change/correction in any particulars of the Application Form including change of category, once submitted, will not be entertained under any circumstances.
• The Board reserves the right to cancel or modify the advertisement, change exam centres, cancel a part or entire process of examination, and amend examination scheme at any stage.
• Use of Calculator, Laptop, Palmtop, Bluetooth devices, earbuds, camera, other Digital Instrument/Mobile/Cell phone, Pager/electronic watches and any metallic items etc. is not allowed in the examination centre; candidates found in possession will be liable for debarment and legal action.
• Candidates are warned not to furnish any false particulars or suppress any material information; candidature will be cancelled and legal/penal action may be taken for misconduct, malpractice or use of offensive/abusive/foul language.
