Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification: Senior Secondary from a recognized Board or its equivalent Examination
  • Computer Qualification (Any One):
    • O Level or Higher Level certificate course conducted by DOEACC under Department of Electronics, Government of India
    • Certificate course on Computer Concept by NIELIT, New Delhi
    • Computer Operator & Programming Assistant (COPA)/Data Preparation and Computer Software (DPCS) certificate under National/State Council of Vocational Training Scheme
    • Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Computer Science/Computer Application from a university established by law in India or recognized institution
    • Senior Secondary Certificate with Computer Science/Computer Application as one of the subjects
    • Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering from a polytechnic institution recognized by the Government
    • Rajasthan State Certificate Course in Information Technology (RSCIT) conducted by Vardhman Mahaveer Open University, Kota under Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited
    • Any equivalent or higher qualification recognized by the government
  • Additional Requirement: Knowledge of working in Hindi written in Devanagari script and knowledge of Rajasthan culture
  • Desirable: Candidates appearing in the final year examination of the course which constitutes the educational qualification may also apply, but must submit proof of passing before appearing in Phase-II Typing Test

Salary/Stipend

  • Salary will be as per 7th Pay Commission, Pay Matrix Level-5
  • During probation period of two years, fixed monthly remuneration will be paid as determined by the State Government
  • During probation, no allowances like HRA, DA, Urban Compensation Allowance, Special Pay etc. will be payable
  • After successful completion of probation period and training, pay scale and other allowances will be payable as per rules
  • Other facilities and leave during probation will be as per Rajasthan Service Rules as amended from time to time

Selection Process

  • Phase I: Two objective type written papers (3 hours each, 100 marks each)
    • Paper 1: General Knowledge, Daily Science and Mathematics
    • Paper 2: General Hindi and English
  • Phase II: Computer Typing Test (For non-disabled candidates only)
    • Hindi Typing on Computer: Speed Test (10 min – 25 marks) + Efficiency Test (10 min – 25 marks)
    • English Typing on Computer: Speed Test (10 min – 25 marks) + Efficiency Test (10 min – 25 marks)
  • Disabled candidates will be awarded average marks obtained in Phase I
  • Minimum Qualifying Marks (Phase I): 40% in each paper (35% for SC/ST candidates – 5% relaxation)
  • Minimum Qualifying Marks (Phase II): 36% in each test (31% for SC/ST candidates – 5% relaxation)
  • Only candidates scoring minimum 40% in both papers of Phase I and ranking within 3 times the number of vacancies will be called for Phase II
  • Final merit will be based on combined marks of Phase I and Phase II
  • Exam will be conducted in offline (OMR based) mode
  • Normalization process will be applied if exam is conducted in multiple shifts
  • Negative marking: 1/3 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer

General Information/Instructions

  • Candidates must be Indian citizens or persons of Nepali, Bhutanese origin, or Tibetan refugees who came to India before 01-01-1962, or persons of Indian origin from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries who migrated permanently to India
